Changes at Mechatronic AG

Darmstadt, January 11

Since the start of the new year, Holger Frank has been a member of the Executive Board at Mechatronic AG. The Supervisory Board at the Darmstadt-based medical technology company appointed the 52-year old computer scientist alongside founder Reiner Witt.

Holger Frank succeeds Thomas Ullmann, who left the company in December to pursue new challenges.
Frank has held a variety of management positions before, including at Werner & Mertz as the head of group financial controlling and as the director of branch offices in France, Belgium and Spain. For the last 14 years, he was the CEO of Bensheim-based pharmaceutical packaging manufacturer Sanner.

Furthermore, since last autumn, Berthold Breitkopf has strengthened the management team at Mechatronic AG, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, as the head of development. After completing his degree in physical engineering at a university of applied sciences, Breitkopf was employed at several companies as a development engineer and as head of development. In addition, he was a member of the management board at a number of SMEs.

Reiner Witt is optimistic for the future: “We have very good employees, a lot of experience and a modern structure – we are in the best possible position in our anniversary year.”
