The medical technology Company has been certified according to EN ISO 13485 and DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1997 and is thus subject to an annual monitoring audit as well as a recertification audit every three years. The certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, DIN EN ISO 13485:2016 proofs the Company´s deep process know-how and QM competence.

Further confirmation from the experts: The SmartDrugDispenser has outdone stiff competition.

The world's first app-controlled medication dispenser won the international innovation competition at Medtec Europe in Stuttgart. After a jury had selected the ten best products, the visitors to the trade fair had the opportunity to vote for medical devices from the top ten. Our health system is undergoing radical change, which is accompanied by a significantly increasing imbalance among all concerned. Highly qualified medical specialists are seen alongside a lack of general practitioners and nursing staff and an increasing number of older and sicker patients. The result is that patients are increasingly having to carry out medical procedures themselves, including using feeding tubes and administering subcutaneous injections. There is also an increasing number of staff in medical facilities who are performing more complex tasks on medical devices under extreme time pressure and with very little advanced training. SmartDrugDispenser reaches final round of Medtec's innovation competition

The SmartDrugDispenser by Mechatronic AG finished among the top ten entries in the Medtec Europe international innovation competition, catapulting it into the final round. Companies spanning the globe submit their most innovative technologies in the hopes of winning the award. The winner will be selected from among the top ten innovations in the final round. Visitors to the trade fair are now voting on who will receive the trophy on 12th April.
